If you’ve got a passion for LGBT policy work, and you’re an existing civil servant, these might be the jobs for you!
The Government Equalities Office (GEO) is responsible for equality strategy and legislation across government. GEO takes action on the government’s commitment to remove barriers to equality and help to build a fairer society, leading on issues relating to women, sexual orientation and transgender equality.
Two new roles have become available in GEO’s LGB&T Policy team.
- The first role is for a Policy Officer – LGB&T Policy. This is an EO grade role focusing on areas like international policy, performance reporting and correspondence.
- The second is for a Policy Adviser – LGB&T Policy. This is an SEO grade role focusing on delivering GEO’s anti-homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying programme, as well as other policy areas.
Both roles are open for around 2 weeks and open to existing civil servants only. The closing date for both roles 3 February 2017. You can apply for the roles on Civil Service Jobs.
