A number of government departments feature in this year’s Workplace Equality Index from Stonewall.
Today, the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index 2015 was published. 397 organisations participated this year, which was an 8% increase on 2014.
We are delighted that the Home Office achieved ‘Star Performer’ status in recognition of their excellent performance in recent years. It was also great news that the following 11 Government organisations were in the Top 100:
4 – National Assembly for Wales
7 – MI5
8 – Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service
15 – Office for National Statistics
25 – Environment Agency
27 – Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs
34 – Welsh Government
54 – Department of Health
65 – Crown Prosecution Service
82 – National Audit Office
94 – Care Quality Commission
Speaking after the results were announced, the Chair of CSRA, Ollie Entwistle, said:
“CSRA would like to congratulate all the Government organisations that featured in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. It is particularly excellent news that the Home Office has achieved Star Performer status, very well deserved!”
Over the coming months, CSRA will be working with networks to help share the best practice from this years Workplace Equality Index submissions, so that all networks can continue to develop.
