Several government departments have ranked in the Top 100 LGB-friendly employers in the 2014 Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.
Several government departments have made the Top 100 in this year’s Stonewall Workplace Equality Index (2014). The Ministry of Defence scooped the award for ‘Most Improved Employer’, whilst other civil service organisations also made the top 100 including the Home Office and National Assembly for Wales.
For ten years running, Stonewall’s Index has helped transform over 800 workplaces across Britain and is hailed as one of the definitive benchmark for gay-friendly employers. Today, participation in Stonewall’s Index sends a powerful signal of an organisation’s commitment to its most vital resource, its people.
